Taj Parlor @plasma.revolver [4th year apprentice]
Taj joined the Black Diamond team and began his tattoo apprenticeship in January 2022, placing him in his 4th and final year as of 2025.
Taj began his artistic journey at a young age painting graffiti and street art. He later took a keen interest in tattooing, finding his passion in American-traditional style tattooing as well as psychedelic and abstract art.
Over the last four years, Taj has developed a distinctive and one-of-a-kind style. He maintains the bold, bright elements of traditional tattooing while incorporating personal design choices that level-up these designs and make them incredibly unique. The result is an amalgamation of Taj’s personality - traditional boldness, psychedelic style and an all-round nostalgic, grungy feel to his wicked designs.
Taj is a popular choice for first-timers and has already developed long-lasting relationships with many return clients who love his take on a classic style.

Both our apprentices (Taj and Bec) are currently working at discounted rates compared to our senior artists while they continue to learn the craft of tattooing.
All consultations, designs, stencils and tattoos are supervised by one of our senior artists and approved every step of the way. This process ensures every client gets quality work, customer service and has a great experience. Jobs are quoted on a per piece basis not hourly rate while our apprentices are in their first year tattooing. This allows all processes and tattoos the adequate time necessary to ensure the best result.
