Booking your first tattoo

Have you been looking to get your first tattoo? Do you have a million questions or are you unsure of what to expect?… Well hopefully this will give you a quick understanding of the process all the way from submitting a consultation request, through to the tattoo healing process.

Step 1

Now that you’ve decided to go ahead and get your first tattoo, the first thing to do is submit a consultation request. Our consultation form asks a number of questions about you, the tattoo you are wanting to get, and when you are hoping to get it. Including as much information as possible at this step helps streamline the process and helps us set you up with the right artist. It’s always a great idea to look through our artist’s profiles to see their work prior to submitting a consultation request so that you know who you might like to book in with. Each of our artists specialises in a specific style and it is important that we match each client with the correct artist, as this ensures a great tattoo at the end of the day.

Step 2

Within 1-5 days of submitting your consultation request our studio assistant will touch base with you as to whether more information is required, or if your request has been sent through to an artist.

Step 3

Once an artist has your request they will reach out to you to either organise a consultation and discuss the tattoo with you, or to arrange a booking (usually for a smaller tattoo which may not need a consultation).

Step 4

Once you have discussed the idea for your tattoo with your artists, they will be able to provide you with an approximate cost for how much the tattoo may cost. It should be noted however that the quote is not the final price as the final price is dependent on how long it takes to complete the tattoo. To confirm your booking the artist will require a deposit which comes off the price of the final tattoo. Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid.

Step 5

As bookings are often made months in advance it is totally normal to have ideas for small changes you would like to make to the design. If you do have any ideas of things you would like to adjust, send through an email to your artist as they often only draw the design within the week prior to the booking and are happy to make changes to ensure you love the design.
